As part of its promotional activities during the upcoming MotoGP in October at the Sepang International Cirucit, Hong Leong Yamaha Malaysia has released the 2017 Yamaha Y125ZR Special Limited MotoGP edition in Movistar racing livery and priced at RM8,846, including GST. The price does not include road tax, registration and insurance.
Besides the racing livery, each Y125ZR will be marked with an edition emblem on the front cowl with a serial number. Buyers of the Y125ZR Special Limited MotoGP edition will also receive a certificate printed with the special edition’s unique chassis and engine number, along with a Y125ZR custom t-shirt and collectible photo postcard of the bike.
The front end is held up by a telescopic fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock keeps the rear end upright. Hydraulic discs handle braking duties front and rear, using single-piston calipers, and fuel is carried in a 4.2-litre tank.
The Yamaha Y125ZR MotoGP edition is available immediately from authorised Hong Leong Yamaha Malaysia dealers.

Can anybody confirm what is the actual price when it reaches dealer? I just checked the price from Welly Sg. Buloh & MotoSing Jalan Pudu, both dealers sell at 12k-13k without insurance. if the retails price start at RM8,846 means dealer simply make easy money RM4k on top of their supposed selling price.
Because it is so hot, dealer tend to price it higher than normal price. You would have to go shop by shop to get a quote until you get near the origin price. And after buying it, your life won’t be at ease because this bike tends to get stolen. No matter how you lock them.
On mudah.com, it is rm9,900, presumably on the road price.
