Volkswagen will officially reveal the T-Roc on August 23, and has released another sneak peek video that provides some design insights into the upcoming compact SUV.
From the video, it is confirmed the T-Roc will feature the brand’s Active Info Display as well as a massive touchscreen, both found in the latest Golf. The vehicle’s exterior has already been seen ahead of schedule thanks to earlier spyshots, but the interior layout remains a mystery for now.
The T-Roc will likely ride on the familiar Modular Transverse Matrix MQB platform, which is also used by the new Polo and Golf, and should arrive with the usual mix of petrol and diesel engines. Volkswagen had previously stated it will debut a 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain on a ‘Golf-sized vehicle’, but is not certain if the T-Roc will be the first recipient of the technology.
Set to be positioned below the Tiguan, the T-Roc was previewed by the T-ROC Concept from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and will likely have dimensions to reflect its position in Volkswagen’s SUV line-up.

You all must be blind or just typical Malaysians who generalize. This car looks far better than the HRV or other alphabet based cars from Toyotarak or Hondah-la-tu!
Besides, technology wise this car is a couple of generations ahead than the rest of the pretenders.
