Mercedes-Benz Malaysia appoints Auto Commerz as new dealer – temporary showroom opens in KL

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the appointment of Auto Commerz as a new dealer partner at the launch of the latter’s temporary showroom, Mercedes-Benz Auto Commerz Autohaus, on Jalan Genting Klang today.

Auto Commerz is part of the greater Swire Group, which also distributes Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Taiwan. The company, together with MBM, has allocated an investment of more than RM10 million in its operations in Malaysia over the next two years.

The new interim showroom is fully compliant with the Mercedes-Benz Presentation System II standard for global Autohaus facilities, as well as Stuttgart’s latest corporate identity. It has space for four showroom vehicles and official accessories and merchandise, and carries financial services from Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia. A permanent showroom will be opened in 2019.

“With the launch of this new Auto Commerz Autohaus, we maintain our claim as the largest premium dealer network in Malaysia with 32 Autohauses nationwide,” said MBM president and CEO Claus Weidner. “We strongly believe that the introduction of a new dealer group in Malaysia will enable us to continue to strengthen our brand presence in this country and deliver superior customer experience to our customers.”

Auto Commerz dealer principal Eric Khoo said, “We are very excited about joining the Mercedes-Benz network. As we are supported by strong global experience and expertise, we will continue to maintain the Mercedes-Benz brand and also take customer experience to greater heights in Malaysia.”

    Mercedes and BMW customers are generally more particular about details and they have higher expectations. Do handle well.

    Youngsters tend to have more temper, be less patient and more defensive.
