In the lead up to the global debut of the all-new Lamborghini Urus, the Italian carmaker has released a new video highlighting the off-road capability of its “super sport utility vehicle.”
Here, we are introduced to the Urus’ drive modes, which go beyond the normal ones you’ll find in other Lamborghini models – Strada (Road), Sport and Corsa (Race). You won’t find Sabbia (Sand), Terra (Dirt) and Neve (Snow) in the Huracan, that’s for sure.
For the video that takes place in a desert, Sabbia is the preferred drive mode of choice as the Urus charges across the sand. We also get to catch a glimpse of the car’s four-wheel steering system in action, something that also be found in the Aventador S.
As far as styling goes, the car remains pretty faithful to the 2007 concept, with only a few revisions on its way to being production ready. Lamborghini says the Urus will receive a specially-developed 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8, which could be joined be a plug-in hybrid model later on.
The Urus will be revealed in full on December 4, and will compete against other performance-focused SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne.
