Honda Malaysia has officially opened the doors to its new 3S centre in Banting. The RM15 million facility, which spans 23,250 square feet, is the first 3S centre in the area and it is operated by Banting Star.
The centre houses 16 bays working bays (11 service bays, three general repairs and two tyre service) that are capable of attending up to 44 cars a day. It also has a customer lounge, executive lounge, cafe that serves F&B, a kids corner as well as a surau. Other conveniences include complimentary Wi-Fi connection, car wash, road tax renewal and insurance coverage services.
In the first quarter of 2018, Honda Malaysia sold 24,100 units of cars, and it is currently the number one car brand in the non-national segment and second in the overall TIV. The bulk of sales comes from central region, which accounts for over 11,500 units or 48% of the company’s total sales. The biggest contributor is Selangor with over 6,900 units (29%) sold.
The opening of Banting Star Honda 3S Centre will serve to support the increased after-sales intake – from January to March 2018, the total service intake in central region stood at just over 148,100 units, representing a 10% increase from the service intakes in the same period last year. The Banting Star 3S centre is located at Lot 1608, Jalan Klang Banting, Telok Panglima Garang, 42500, Selangor.
