Growing in strength from year to year is the Art of Speed Festival (AOS), now in its seventh edition. Scheduled to be held at the Malaysian Agro Exposition Park in Serdang, Selangor this July 28 and 29, this year’s AOS will see a showcase of custom builders both Malaysian and international.

Among exhibits are two 1947 Indian Motorcycles, owned by Nao Shima and Yuki Hitomi of Tokyo Indian MC. Also on display will be the 1978 Harley-Davidson Sportster MQQN Digger and 1954 MQQN Bug built by Masashi Tazaki of One Low Japan.

Highlight of the show this time around is the world preview of the RWB Porsche 911 which has been made into a Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary model. Dmitriy Shakhmatov, Global Hot Wheels Product Design Manager will host the preview as part of of the Hot Wheels Southeast Asia Tour, along with meeting Hot Wheels fans.

Visitors to the show also stand to win lucky draw prizes of “Papa Jahat”, a custom built 600 cc kapchai and a trip to visit the 27th Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show. Visitors can purchase Speedlane tickets at RM30 each to access the show floor at 10 a.m. while normal tickets at RM15 allow entry after 11 a.m.

Onsite will be the the House of Vans skateboard and BMX competition along with an art competition for younger visitors. A vintage denim exhibition which includes vintage denim from 1870 and a collection valued at over RM1,000,000.00 will be on display in the Vintage Hall.
