Mitsubishi hires Dambrosio as head of design

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that Alessandro Dambrosio will join the company as executive design director of advanced design in October, and will lead teams at three studios in two countries – Okazaki in Japan, and Frankfurt in Germany. Dambrosio will report directly to Tsunehiro Kunimoto, corporate vice president of the design division at Mitsubishi.

“Alessandro is a very experienced and skilled designer with a long career at leading car companies. I look forward to him inspiring our teams to shape the next generation of Mitsubishi Design and contributing to rebuild and enhance the Mitsubishi Motors Brand as we aiming for global growth,” Kunimoto said of Dambrosio’s appointment.

The Italian native began his career in Fiat at Centro Stile Lancia, and spent eight years at Alfa Romeo as chief designer. Subsequently, Dambrosio became head of Maserati Design, and followed that up with becoming head of the Audi Concept Design Studio in Munich, Germany.

Products of Dambrosio’s work included the Alfa Romeo 159, Giulietta and Mito as well as the Maserati GranCabrio. His VW Group work included the Volkswagen Polo and Passat, Bentley Bentayga, Audi A4, A5 and Audi TT Sportback concept, as well as the Lamborghini Egoista Concept.

Ugly design, good quality, everyone buy, like previous dugong vios.
Nice design, junk quality, no one bother, like current Suprima S.

Buy Preve in your dream dude. Best selling Proton are Saga and Persona (simply because they are cheap). For same amount of money, people rather buy Vios than pathetic Preve. Again you have show us The Power Of… Day Dreaming.
