The Mercedes-Maybach brand needs no introduction. It’s one of the most recognisable luxury car brands around, and any model that’s christened with the Maybach badge is built to perfection. The recently launched Maybach S560 you see here is no different.
Mechanically, it’s armed with a 4.0 litre turbocharged V8 that provides 469 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission, which catapults it from zero to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and tops out at an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h. Ride is managed by Mercedes-Benz’s Magic Body Control function which works in tandem with Road Surface Scan technology to provide precise damping forces of each individual wheel.
It’s an incredibly long car as well, featuring a lengthy 3,365 mm wheelbase that provides ample legroom for industry captains seated in the rear. There are two heavily bolstered Executive seats wrapped in Exclusive nappa leather upholstery with part-quilt pattern, and it even has an integrated chiller in the middle. Another noteworthy “gem” is the analogue IWC clock, which adds a nice touch.
Watch the video above as our man Hafriz Shah samples the RM1.4 million Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Is this the S-Class of your dreams, or would you be happy with the “standard” model? Leave your comments, below.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.

RM1.4 mil. Better buy banglo @ Ukay Melawati.
To be fair if one can afford the RM1.4M cost of this car and all the maintenance, he/she probably already has a few bungalows.
Obviously the guy above who have that thought dont have any bungs
why even bother review a car which is targeted to the less that 1 percent of the market? if im being honest ur just trippin on or own juice, how about actually reviewing a car suited for the masses .
we dont really care …. but ur just using us to trip on ur deepest fantasy to feel a maybach
Go home, boy, you’re drunk.
I am glad he reviewed this car. Our participation in PT forum is to learn about cars, irrespective of size, price and demand.
Pls keep your personal private comments to yourself and we as readers do not appreciate you hitting at Hafriz or any member of PT team.
PT team are doing a great job. If you are frustrated in life, you do not have to read what you do not like.
I for one enjoyed this piece on Maybach. I have owned the previous Maybach 57 before because in the UK, prices had plummeted to 90% depreciation and I bought it for less than 5000 pounds. I can verify, this car is in a class of its own.
You talk like they don’t review cars for peasants like you.
“We dont really care” and who are you using representing? Remain dumb and comfort at your rust complaining just because you are not as rich
PT review this maybach on our behalf, because most of the readers here will never have the chance to come close to maybach. ordinary cars on the other hand, i can easily go to showroom to test myself, i dont need PT to review ordinary cars .
Just buy a ghost better, RR the brand anytime better than merc
is it bullet proof? if it’s not, that’s a rip off. why buy so expensive car when you are still at risk of kidnapping and hijacking.
