Happy Friday, everyone! It’s time for another weekly fuel price update, and it’s good news if you’re a RON 97 user, as the price of the fuel is going down for the coming two weeks.
From tomorrow, June 1, 2019, RON 97 will retail at RM2.63 per litre (down 13 sen from RM2.76 last week). Meanwhile, the price of RON 95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.08 per litre, the maximum price consumers pay no matter how high market prices push pump prices.
It’s the same for Euro 2M diesel as well, which continues to be sold at RM2.18 per litre, and Euro 5 diesel – always 10 sen more than Euro 2M diesel – at RM2.28 per litre.
Referring to the Automatic Price Mechanism (APM) calculations, RON 95 petrol would cost RM2.33 per litre while diesel would be priced at RM2.40 per litre without the price cap in place. The government added that it would absorb an estimated RM165.27 million in fuel subsidy costs for the period June 1-14.
These prices will remain in effect until June 14, when the next set of fuel pricing adjustments will be announced. This is effectively the 21st and 22nd editions of the weekly fuel pricing format, which is announced every Friday. The weekly prices are in effect from Saturday until the following Friday.

Last week up 8 sen, tonight down 11 sen !
Good ruler.
Orang bodoh sahaja gembira minyak dah murah sikit. Dah lah minyak amat murah di Malaysia, masih gembira murah lagi. Habis pembangunan negara pakai duit apa wei?
Orang yang bodoh sahaja yang mintak RM1.50/L minyak. Habis guna duit apa untuk pembinaan negara?
Syabas PH! Fuel down by 11 sen means that we can save our financial even more. It is fine if sometimes fuel price increase because the goverment needs money to build our country and PH are not a corrupted goverment so money we paid will be use for important things.
Yeah sure. Important things like unnecessary 3rd national car project. While the rakyat have to fend for themselves.
True that. Petronas profit must feedings the rakyat. While the shenanigans LTH Felda LTAT shud be saved and too big to fail.
More important than cheap petrol is clean petrol. Because of laziness and lembapness, we still use Euro 2M petrol whilst Singapore is using Euro 4 since 10 years already
Euro 2M was banned in Europe in 1994 due to it having too much of poison and toxins in it. 25 years later, we are still using it.
Last week up 8 sen, tonight down 13 sen !
Good ruler.
Petrol is expensive in Malaysia now despite Malaysia being an oil producer.
This is pure BS! Cannot subsidise rakyat as they had promised, but can sponsor flying car project which was not promised!
Fuel subsidy is in the region of many billions. Flying car was around one million. So….. Malaysians want free everything?
Initial cost is RM 20 million and throughout it would be billions. No doubt Malaysians want those billions for themselves and not selected friends of the administration.
We want promised made to be kept. Can or not? If cannot, then they please better leave. We should not have liars running the Gomen.
You not happy with things, you also can leave….
So why didn’t you, back then?
Flying car development only cost one mil RM? Where did you dreamed this up? If it was just for one mil RM, many established automakers would have gladly foot the development and we already have flying cars zooming past us.
BSH subsidise for my old parents and Raya Bonus for me civil servants. Cheer up bruh
According to my APM fuel calculation is correct.
Dulu harga naik, marah kerajaan, sekarang dah turun, kenapa tak puji rafizi?
