2019 Honda ADV 150 priced from RM9,908 in Indonesia

After the launch of the 2019 Honda ADV 150 at the Gaiikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), pricing for Honda’s latest scooter has now been released for the Indonesia market. There are two models on offer, the ADV 150 with combined braking system at 33.5 million rupiah (RM9,908) while the ABS-equipped ADV 150 goes for 36.5 million rupiah (RM10,795).

From a pricing comparison of Honda’s 150 scooter line up in Indonesia, the ADV 150 is at the high end of its range, with the Vario 150 priced at 23.6 million rupiah (RM6,986) and the PCX 150 ABS at 31.68 million rupiah (RM9,371). However, the PCX Hybrid tops out Honda Indonesia’s scooter range at 42.1 million rupiah (RM12,463).

This compares against Malaysian pricing for the Honda Vario 150 at RM7,199 and PCX 150 at RM10,999 while the PCX Hybrid is priced at RM13,499. Meanwhile, official importers for Malaysia Boon Siew Honda have not made any statement as to whether the Honda ADV 150 will reach our shores.

The ADV 150 is powered by a 149.3 cc, single-cylinder SOHC mill, producing 14.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 13.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm with Idling Stop. Fuelling is with Honda’s PGM-Fi and power gets to the ground via an automatic gearbox and belt drive.

While the engine might be similar to the units used in the Vario 150 and PCX 150, the ADV 150 comes with an adjustable windshield, LED lighting all round and Showa suspension. Braking is with hydraulic callipers front and rear by Nissin and fuel is carried in an 8.0-litre tank.
