Porsche Sportscar Together Day returns to Sepang!

Porsche Sportscar Together Day returns to Sepang!

For those who missed out on Porsche’s big 70th birthday bash last year, good news awaits, because the Porsche Sportscar Together Day is happening once again, this time at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) on August 3, 2019.

There’s plenty to do at the event. Car owners and brand enthusiasts get to learn about the stories and highlights of Porsche’s illustrious cars of the past, including the opportunity to have an up close and personal look at all generations of the 911. Yes, the line-up includes the new eighth generation 992 model. Also on display are other iconic models such as the Le Mans winning Porsche 919 Hybrid.

Besides that, those who are interested can take part in the Porsche Experience. Here, one gets to take his or her driving skills to the next level by getting behind the wheel of a Porsche car. All Porsche owners are also invited to be part of the Porsche Parade, one which is said to be the largest Porsche gatherings ever to be staged at SIC.

The Porsche Sportscar Together Day is also family-friendly, in that children between age four to 12 get to take part in the Porsche Junior Experience Programme. Here, the children are taught basic road and racetrack driving. There’s even a specially designed circuit intended to imitate the layout of SIC and real-world driving!

Lastly, visitors are able to take a first-hand look at the upcoming Porsche Taycan with a 1:3 scale model of the Mission E, albeit in augmented reality format. Of course, no event is complete without refreshments, so one can look forward to the range of food trucks available on-site.
