Mitsubishi has officially launched the facelifted Mirage hatchback and Attrage sedan in Thailand, with both models set to make their show debut at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2019 on November 28.
The facelift – the second being given for the sixth-generation car, which was launched in 2011 and was first facelifted in 2015 – refreshes the two A-segment models with a sharper and more dynamic exterior and also updates the interior.
As previously highlighted, both the Mirage and Attrage now feature a Dynamic Shield front design, adapted from that seen on the company’s larger models such as the Triton pick-up truck and the Expander MPV. The new bumper and grille layout is joined by a redesigned, narrower multi-bulb LED combination headlight that helps widen the look of the front end.
At the back, there’s a restyled, squarer-edged bumper and the rear LED combination lamps get new graphics. New 15-inch alloy wheels designs are also to be found, with the Mirage unit featuring a two-tone diamond-cut finish. There are also two new exterior colours- Sand Yellow for the Mirage, and White Diamond for both hatch and sedan.
Inside, the Mirage gets a new-look fabric and synthetic leather combination upholstery, while the Attrage’s seats are now dressed in synthetic leather, with both material sets featuring contrast piping and stitching on the seat sides.
The Mirage and Attrage also get a new Smartphone Display Audio (SDA) system, which comes with a seven-inch display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Other revisions include a faux carbon-fibre pattern finish for the instrument meter and the power window switch panels, redesigned front arm rests and soft-feel cloth trim for hand-touch areas.
No mechanical changes, and so the same 78 hp and 100 Nm 1.2 litre three-cylinder engine as seen previously continues on, the unit being available with either a CVT or a five-speed manual transmission.

(Like) 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage.
(Dislike) 2020 Kia Picanto GT
(Like) 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage
(Dislike) 2019 Proton Iriz
Such a shame that Proton cut ties with Mitsubishi. Otherwise, these game changing hatchback and sedan can be ours. Instead, we are stuck with the ugly game over Persona and Iriz
Mitsubishi inspired Wira C99, Satria Gti & Putra coupe were the icons until campro came
Jepunis afraid of campro, can still have output like turbo with n/a 1.6
Mitsubishi game over and now relegated to making lousy small cars that has no market.
Between Attrage and Saga, I will take the Saga everytime. Between Iriz and Mirage, unless you are the resident troll, of course Iriz is the better car.
Waiting for mitsubishi 1.0 or 1.2 mivec turbo for this hot looking hatch.
