Congestion has been reported on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway due to a crash that involved five superbikes at KM26.5 in the Kuala Lumpur-bound direction of the highway at around 1:45pm today, the New Straits Times reported.
The fast lane of the highway remained closed as of 2:30pm, when traffic was slowed to a crawl from KM35 in the Genting Sempah-Gombak direction to the location of the accident, ANIH Berhad senior general manager Radzimah Mohd Radzi told the news site.
“We ask all highway users to be patient and careful when driving, in addition to obeying the instructions from officers at the scene,” he said. From social media posts relating to the incident, it is understood that no lives were lost at the time, however the five motorcyclists involved were reported to have sustained serious injuries.
From dashcam footage posted to Dashcam Owners Malaysia Facebook page, a group of motorcyclists were shown travelling along this stretch of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway, and the video then cuts to the scene of the crash.

Zero sympathy for those thugs

These high powered bikes are even faster than the quickest cars that speed on this highway but I not sure if the owners are also aware they easily kick the bucket if they ride that fast.

Got video evidence these motorcyclist were speeding but i bet pdrm will not issue a summon.
Even in towns and residential areas, motorcyclist disregard other road users and speed. Now authorities want to impose a 35km/ hr speed limit in certain roads due to high fatalities which involves mostly motorcyclist. Effectively Punishing all for the misdeeds of a few.
Everyone needs to be responsible road users. A not so fast bike or car can still be dangerous if its in the wrong hand and head.

Let’s put it this way, the bikes are going fast and having such small frame. It is almost impossible to see them coming before changing lanes especially when it’s at small bends and slopes.
It’s the bikes speeding that caused the accident making so much nuisance to other road users. Pity the car that got blamed for the accident.
All motorcycles especially these Supidbikes should be banned from the highway.

Doesn’t matter if the bike costs over RM100k. You will crash and burn exactly the same as a rempit on a stolen RM4000 bike. The only difference is more people will cheer a superbike accident because of them being bigger road thugs and road bullies than rempits.
