Are you all ready to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri? Many are already back in their hometowns, preparing for the big day, which is most likely to fall on Wednesday. But if you’re yet to balik kampung, you might be able to take advantage of free toll, applicable today and tomorrow (April 8-9).
To clear up any confusion, the works ministry has released a ‘did you know?’ infographic, which explains that if you enter the highway on April 7 and exit on April 8, you will get your toll fare waived. However, if you enter the highway on April 9 and exit past midnight, on April 10, you will not receive free toll.
This means that it all depends on you exit time, which has to be between 12.01 am on April 8 (today) and 11.59 pm on April 9 (tomorrow), so take note if you want to enjoy the perk.
PLUS also released an infographic with that reminds users that the toll-free offer is only for Class 1 private vehicles, and is valid everywhere except for toll plazas at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (Causeway) and Tanjung Kupang (Second Link) in Johor.
There are a couple of reminders too, to ensure that you get to enjoy the free toll and traffic flow is smooth – Touch n Go users still need to tap in and out (ensure that your card is still valid), SmartTag users should ensure that the device has a working battery, and RFID users must enter and exit via RFID lanes. Plan your journey with the MyPLUS-TTA (travel time advisory) in the PLUS app. Drive safe!

Anwar menang rakyat senang
As above.
PH Gomen continue to troll millions of Msians
byk dah balik kampung kena
bayar diri pulang lepas raya
Kalau saya undi PN saya kena bayar tol tak?
Xde pon disuruh utk bayar tol sendiri. Manakala PH yang janji nak mansuh tol bila nak tepati? Masih dicapatikan janji dorang.
Tak perlu pun tol free ni,ada yg balik kampung ni. Ada yang sanggup sewa Mustang RM5k sehari nak flex kat orang kampung. Biar papa asal bergaya.
Kau takde kampung dok diam2
Whether toll free or not, the money comes from either rakyat or rakyat via gomen. Nothing’s really free. If it’s really free, no need validate card in and out of toll booth. You think really free meh.
It would truly be free if PH can follow their formulaman calculation and abolish all tolls as they had promised to do if they became the Gomen and twice they are now gomen but still not yet abolish.
