Once again, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is offering discounts of up to 50% on selected traffic summonses in a special campaign, this time at the Program Madani Rakyat that is taking place in Miri, Sarawak from September 27 to 29, at the Boulevard Mall compound.
Counters where payment for the PDRM summonses can be made at the venue from 9am to 4pm on these dates, and motorists who intend to take advantage of the discounted rate offer will need to make their payments for summonses on-site at the event venue.
As with previous Program Madani Rakyat events, discounted rates for summonses will not apply for offences such as red light offences, emergency lane misuse, dangerous overtaking and overtaking across double lines. Summonses for which discounts are also not applicable include non-compoundable offences, court appearance offences, offences involving lorries and modified exhaust-related offences.
