The integration of MyDigital ID to allow continued usage of the MyJPJ app has not been cancelled but postponed, MyDigital ID Sdn Bhd CEO Mohd Mirza Mohd Noor has said, according to Bernama.
He explained that the delay should not be interpreted as a cancellation, but as part of an overall strategy to ensure the success of this feature and improve the user experience.
“(Transport minister Anthony Loke) has just announced the postponement of the implementation of the ‘Single Login’ feature, which allows users to log in with only one account. During this suspension period, users can still choose to use their existing MyJPJ login or MyDigital ID to access the application,” Mirza said in a statement.
He added that he was aware of reports of users having trouble accessing the MyJPJ app with their new MyDigital ID, but the number was not many compared to the over 150,000 users who were successfully registered.
“Any further questions about the MyDigital ID program or related matters, the public is encouraged to contact MyDigital ID Sdn Bhd, the entity responsible for overseeing the implementation of digital ID and related project information,” said Mirza.
Loke announced on Wednesday that MyJPJ users do not need a MyDigital ID to log into the app beginning October 10.

Yes, continue to push the people to the wall. Don’t be surprised when the people push you out.
High time to kick PH out. But Mahkota voters, you failed us!
Kick and replace with who?
Of course he would not want the cancellation to be real. His company stand to lose a lot of potential crypto payouts from worldcoin, the backend blockchain they used for this app.
Billions and billions of potential crypto to be earned if they manage to force everyone in Malaysia to sign up.
Then they can use that selling point and go public and get even more money from the IPO.
And also gain the power of punishing those who dissent against the powers that be.
Perfect win win situation for you know who.
Worldcoin pays out for bio data but they’re also banned in many countries in Europe due to privacy issues and the lack of ability for your biometric data to be deleted/revoked.
This project is fraught with lack of transparency and many people don’t understand the potential ramifications of giving up your biometric data to worldcoin.
Now you’re being forced to give it up to access necessary portals and you’re not the one receiving the payout from worldcoin after giving up your biometric data.
Almost anything here…is when launched sure got hiccups (major) ones…what else is not…hmm…let’s see what’s next launching.
