SAIC Motor Malaysia has held a delivery event for over 20 MG5 buyers at MG Motor Glenmarie (Mega Galeri Sdn Bhd), one of the 18 authorised MG dealerships in the country.
“The MG5 has truly resonated with a segment of buyers who prioritise style and individuality, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone alongside our customers,” said SAIC Motor Malaysia COO Lee Wen Hsiang.
“Through events like these, we’re able to engage directly with our customers, listen to their feedback, and gather meaningful insights into their satisfaction levels. This ongoing connection with our customers not only helps us improve our service but also strengthens the community united by the spirit of MG,” he added.
Launched last month, the C-sized-but-B-priced MG5 has a default B-segment powertrain (114 PS/150 Nm 1.5 litre NA with CVT). The CBU Thai import is marketed in Malaysia as the largest B-segment sedan, with a sole variant priced at RM93,900 (RM86,900 with intro offer). Read our full launch report here.

Compared to other Chinese makes, I am not impressed with MG’s interior. The materials are comparable or worse than the cheaper models of local manufacturers.
But still better than vios. Vios quality look cheap, poor safety and no power than this
Yup, better than vios. Vios is real failure for performance, safety, quality and comfort than this
