Sinkhole on NKVE KM18.6 s/bound, Kota Damansara to Damansara – emergency lane, left lane closed

Highway users on the NKVE, take note. Prolonged rainfall this morning has seen the occurrence of a sinkhole alongside the highway at KM18.6 in the southbound direction, between the Kota Damansara and Damansara exits.

According to PLUS Malaysia, the sinkhole was discovered at 11:30am, and the emergency lane as well as part of the left lane has been closed temporarily. Highway users are advised to heed the instructions of highway personnel as well as traffic signage at the location, and to take all relevant precautions for safe passage.
