Residents of Setia Alam, take note. PLUS has announced a pilot project to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion after the toll plaza, as you exit the township.

Starting from today till December 12, PLUS will place traffic cones to create an early divider of sorts, so you’ll need to pick your side early on and stick to it – right to Bukit Raja and left to Subang/KL – see the graphic above.

The concessionaire did not mention this explicitly, but the measure should be to manage the merging of lanes and to prevent last minute direction changes. It’s a trial, which means that if this actually works in smoothening flow, expect to see it permanently.

Remember to pick your side early. Drive safe and follow the signs and/or personnel in the area.

  • The jam is there because of potong queue fellows plus the distribution of different tag reader lanes is totally skewed. All different lane should be able to accept all type of payment.
