Lynk & Co has teased its upcoming flagship SUV currently codenamed L946, which will make its official debut in 2025 to take on rivals like Huawei’s Aito M9, Li Auto’s Li L9 and the upcoming Denza N9.
In official photos posted by the Geely and Zeekr-owned carmaker, the SUV is seen undergoing winter testing while wearing flashy camouflage. Some design cues that stand out include the brand’s signature front lighting, flush door handles, roof racks and frameless side mirrors.
We can also spot the lack of a conventional front grille, with a large air intake located near the base of the bumper instead. Blacked-out pillars, a roof-mounted lidar sensor, large wheels, orange brake calipers and what looks like full-width taillights are on show too.
No interior photos were provided but spyshots indicate the L946 will have three rows of seats with captain chairs in the second row. Chinese media outlets expect the SUV to come with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and the starting price is claimed to be 300,000 yuan (about RM184k).
