KTM has announced extra ETS trains for Chinese New Year, which will happen at the end of this month, as well as the school holidays. If you’ve yet to secure your ride back to your hometown, act fast – tickets for the extra trains will be open for sale at 10am tomorrow, January 3.
The extra trains are EP9283 and EP9286. The former departs Padang Besar 11.05 am and will reach KL Sentral at 4.30 pm. The latter is a northbound train that departs KL Sentral at 5pm, reaching Padang Besar at 10.20 pm.
The applicable dates are January 17-19, January 24 to February 2, February 7-9 and February 14-16. As usual, the tickets will be available for purchase on the KTMB Mobile app, the KTM website and physically at ticket kiosks. Beat the jam, take public transport!
