Peugeot 2008 gets a RM21,500 rebate, now RM111,888

Peugeot Malaysia has announced a special rebate of RM21,500 for the Peugeot 2008, bringing the striking B-segment SUV’s price down to RM111,888 from RM133,388. The price is inclusive of a comprehensive seven-year warranty, and you can purchase a five-year service inclusive programme (parts and labour) for an extra RM10,000. By the way, this offer is for freshly-made 2025 models.

A bold-looking entrant like its bigger brother 3008, the 2008 is powered by a 1.2-litre PureTech turbocharged engine that develops 130 PS and 230 Nm of torque. The three-pot unit is mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, enabling a top speed of 199 km/h and combined fuel consumption of 4.5 litres per 100 km.

Turbocharged effortlessness is good, but the 2008’s main draw to would-be buyers is design. Highlights include the ‘three-claw’ headlights and plunging LED daytime running lights, complex angular surfacing and the unique i-Cockpit interior. The latter is a two-tier wraparound dashboard with a 3D-effect instrument display. On its left is a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, angled towards the driver. ADAS is part of the package, too.

Haters will be haters always.! I see a strong effort by Stellantis (as the brand principal owner) to improve PUG in Malaysia. They given 7yrs, 200k km warranty, and even 5yrs free service. And the rebate helps prospective buyers.
