KTM has announced a bicycle ban on its Klang Valley Komuter trains over the Thaipusam period. It’s for all types of bicycles, including foldable ones, and will be in place from February 9 to 12.

This is in conjunction with the annual Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves, which KTM Komuter serves. As usual, there will be non-stop 24-hour KTM Komuter services over a four-day, three-night period, starting from February 9. Also, those taking the train on February 10 and 11 will enjoy free rides.

For the free rides, just use your usual cashless method, whether it’s the KTMB Mobile app, Komuter Link card, Touch n Go card or MyDebit and credit cards. Alternatively, get a physical QR ticket from the counter.
