Tesla Model Y Juniper deliveries begin in China

Tesla has started delivering the Tesla Model Y Juniper to customers, with Chinese customers taking delivery of the first batch of units today.

In Malaysia, deliveries are expected to begin in April 2025 beginning with the Launch Series, which gets extra accessories like badging and a faster 0-100km/h acceleration time for the LR model.

The current expected delivery is May 2025 if you make a new booking now, so you won’t be in the first batch.

The new Model Y is available in two variants, with nett prices as follows:

  • Tesla Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive – RM195,450
  • Tesla Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive – RM242,450

No performance version yet, but you might find the launch series LR 4.3 seconds acceleration time to be plenty fast for you.
