Take note, Klang Valley folks who commute to KL city and back. There will be a list of roads in the city that will be closed this evening, from 5pm, for the Masi Magam festival, PDRM’s JSPT KL has announced.
The Masi Magam, which Astro Ulagam describes as a significant Tamil Hindu festival observed during the month of Masi under the Makam Nakshatra, will see a procession from the Kuil Sri Subramaniar Swamy in Batu Caves to Kuil Sri Maha Mariamman at Jalan Tun HS Lee in KL.
The two carts in the procession will start their journey at 5pm and the route will be closed and reopened in stages. The route will pass the MRR2, Jalan Sri Batu Caves, Jalan 46/10, Jalan Sentul Pasar, Jalan Sentul, Jalan Tanah Lapang, Jalan Enam, Jalan Sentul and Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (Jalan Ipoh).
From there, the procession will head to its destination via Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Dang Wangi, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Leboh Ampang, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Tan Cheng Lock, Jalan Sultan and finally, Jalan Tun HS Lee.
So, if your daily route involves any of these roads, perhaps you can plan an alternative way home. Drive safe.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Not only those roads , i think the surrounding roads will be greatly impacted too. No shortcuts , hence everybody will take the alternative roads..
Anwar menang Indian senang
How about the marginalised Indians who PMX promised to give them good paying jobs in his gomen?
Never happened before, why start now?
Just take a L license and ride motorcycle. Settle the issue if you hate the hassle of waiting public transport.
Why is the lives of 99% is impacted to cater for the 1% who celebrate this?
Kenapa bangsa ni bila sambut apa apa mesti kacau kehidupan semua orang. Mesti nak je guna tempat awam yang akan susahkan semua orang. Sama je dengan rumah mereka. Kalau ada tanah awam kat luar rumah mereka, mesti mereka akan pagarkan dan buat seperti tanah mereka. Pelik la
