Motorists heading in and out of Putra Heights from Persiaran Harmoni, take note. The Subang Jaya city council (MBSJ) has announced that there will be a temporary road closure on one lane of Persiaran Harmoni starting from today, April 7.
In a post on its Facebook page, the council said that the lane that will be closed is from the direction of the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) leading into Putra Heights via Persiaran Harmoni. Meanwhile, the lane from Putra Heights towards the LDP will be converted into a contraflow lane to allow traffic to run in both directions.
The council said the closure was necessary to control the situation in the area where the gas pipeline fire occured on April 1. Over 277 homes and 399 vehicles were affected by the subsequent inferno that took place.
