Stepping down after 15 years as chairman of Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is Tan Sri Azman Yahya. His place will be taken by Datin Anita Azrina Abdul Aziz, marking a milestone as first female chairman of SIC.
Azman joined the SIC Board in 2010 and was appointed as Chairman in 2016. Azrina previously lead Petronas’ global Formula 1 sponsorship with the Mercedes AMG Petronas racing team, as well as holding chairmanships at Petrosains, Petronas Philharmonic Hall, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Malaysian Stadium Board, and board roles at Petronas Lubricants International, Petronas Foudation, and iCEP (International Conference and Exhibition Professionals), in a career going back three decades.

Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is a company under Minister of Finance Incorporated (MOF Inc), and an agency under Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS). The circuit currently hosts premier motorsports events such as the Nalaysian Grand Prix, Malaysian Superbike Championship, Malaysia Touring Car Championship, and Sepang 1000km Endurance Race.
