Mystery Chery new model hidden in a box at Starhill, Bukit Bintang – identify the SUV correctly, get a gift

Chery has a new model coming soon, and it’s being teased in a mystery box. There’s no way you can miss the ribboned box in downtown Bukit Bintang, as it’s located in front of Starhill, next to Uniqlo and opposite Pavilion.

The box has peep holes and a ‘Guess What’s Inside’ invitation. “Passersby are encouraged to look through the windows built into the container box to catch a glimpse of something sleek, shadowed, and unmistakably bold — but what exactly lies within remains a mystery,” Chery says.

“We want to invite Malaysians from all walks of life to be part of the excitement and anticipation. What’s inside the box is something exciting, something new, and something that signals Chery’s growing presence among the young and dynamic,” said Michael Chew, VP of Chery Malaysia.

Young and dynamic, ‘Chery Tiggo’ branding on the box, and #crosswonderfullife are strong hints, and as car guys, we expect you to know what’s inside! Chery says that if you identify the boxed car correctly, you’ll walk away with a special gift. The display will be at Bukit Bintang from today till June 3.

By the way, Chery previewed the Tiggo Cross compact SUV at the recent Malaysia Autoshow 2025, which you can check out here. Available in 1.5L turbo and hybrid forms, the Cross sits below the Omoda 5 in Chery’s SUV range. Now, we’re not saying that the mystery car is the Tiggo Cross, but you can confirm it with your own eyes at BB.
