Cycle & Carriage Malaysia names Adrian Short as CEO

Cycle & Carriage Malaysia (C&C) has announced the appointment of Adrian Short as its new CEO, succeeding Thomas Tok Chek Kuan who will take on a new role as COO of Cycle & Carriage Industries’ Mercedes-Benz operations in Singapore. Short brings with him over three decades of experience in the automotive and mobility industry, spanning business transformation, network development and regional operations specialising in the luxury automotive segment.

His latest appointment follows his previous role as head of business development at Cycle & Carriage Singapore, where he drove growth across the commercial and electric mobility sectors. Before that, he headed Cycle & Carriage Myanmar to manage the importation and distribution of Mercedes-Benz, Mazda and Fuso brands.

“Adrian has been instrumental in shaping Cycle & Carriage Singapore’s regional business development strategy, forging key partnerships and bringing in new brands for Cycle & Carriage Singapore. His extensive understanding of the business, commitment to innovation and service excellence, with deep experience in a multi-brand landscape, makes him the right person to lead Cycle & Carriage Malaysia into its next chapter,” said Tok.

“I am honoured to take on the chief executive role at Cycle & Carriage Malaysia, a company with such deep heritage and strong brand partnerships. Malaysia is a vibrant and evolving market, and I am truly excited to serve our customers here, delivering best-in-class experiences across our servicing segments,” commented Short.

“I look forward to continuing the momentum set by Thomas, strengthening our Mercedes-Benz business, and unlocking new growth opportunities with the Stellantis portfolio. I am confident that together with our capable team, we will continue to shape the future of automotive excellence in Malaysia,” he ended.
