A video post on social media shows a large billboard canvas falling from the board onto the Federal Highway In the video, taken from an unidentified dash cam user, shows the very large banner coming off the billboard and falling on the highway proper.
The banner then falls and engulfs a vehicle on the highway. It is unknown if any injuries were reported.
Some users commenting on the post asked whose liability might it be in such an event. Some replies indicated that liability would likely lie with the owner of the billboard, but expressing good luck in trying to sue the company.
