Automotive supplier ZF Aftermarket has expanded its presence in the region with the opening of a new ASEAN hub in Singapore and a state-of-the-art ASEAN operations hub at the port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), Malaysia.
The company said the dual expansion marks a major step forward in its commitment to provide a closer collaboration with its customers across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. It said that the new Singaporean hub is designed to deliver faster, more adaptive solutions that align with the pace and complexity of mobility demands in Southeast Asia.
According to Philippe Colpron, head of ZF Aftermarket, the hub, which integrates local talent with ZF’s global network, will allow the company to respond quickly and efficiently to its customers through its closer proximity to them.
As for the ASEAN operations hub in Malaysia, the company says that the regional warehouse has been optimised for supply chain agility and uptime-critical service. “Every minute a vehicle sits idle costs our customers money. Our new regional operations centre ensures we can deliver the right parts with unprecedented speed and precision – keeping vehicles moving,” he explained.
The hub features smart inventory systems, streamlined picking and packing operations, and an infrastructure built around sustainability, from its usage of reused packaging materials to an energy-efficient warehouse design. Every aspect of the facility has been engineered to support the uptime needs of fleets and workshops throughout APAC.
ZF Aftermarket offers high-quality products such as Sachs shock absorbers, ZF transmission fluids, and innovative digital diagnostic and remanufacturing solutions for the automotive mobility segment.
