Those who will be on the highway in the Sungai Besi area in the early hours after midnight tonight, take note – PLUS Malaysia has announced that a temporary diversion will be carried out tonight between the Sungai Besi toll plaza and the UPM interchange at KM309.7 in both directions, to facilitate gantry installation works.
Gantry installation works will be carried out from midnight tonight (12.01am June 19) until 5am, according to the highway operator. Southbound traffic from the Sungai Besi toll plaza towards UPM, Kajang and Bangi will be diverted to the BHP petrol station route, after the entry to the toll plaza.
“Northbound traffic at from Bangi or Kajang heading to Kuala Lumpur or Sungai Besi will be diverted at the UPM toll plaza and redirected to the Sungai Besi Expressway (Besraya) as an alternative route,” the highway operator said in a statement.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys, obey the instructions of PLUS personnel and drive with care whne passing through highway work zones, it continued.
