Now in Malaysia is the 2025 QJMotor SRV250 AMT cruiser, priced at RM17,888. Pricing does not include road tax, insurance and registration and two colour options are offered, Matte Black and Silver.
Launched in conjunction with the opening of Mforce Best Shop Chuan Keat Motor in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, the SRV250 AMT is unique in its class in that it is fitted with an AMT (Automatic Manual Transmission) final drive system, enabling clutch-free operation, gear selection either done automatically or using the handlebar pod switches.
Motive power comes from a liquid-cooled V-twin mill, displacing 249 cc with two-valves per cylinder and DOHC, fed by EFI. Power is rated at 27.49 hp at 9,000 rpm with a peak torque of 23 Nm at 8,000 rpm, going to the rear wheel via the aforementioned AMT six-speed gearbox and chain final drive.
Wheel sizing on the SRV250 AMT is 16-inches in front and 15-inches in the rear, fitted with 120/80 and 150/80 tyres, respectively. Suspension is done with upside-down forks in front and a preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers in the rear.
For braking, the SRV250 AMT gets single hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, with 280 mm diameter front and 240 mm rear discs. Two-channel ABS is standard equipment, while weight is listed at 167 kg with 13.5-litres in the tank, and seat height is set at 700 mm.
Riding conveniences include traction control which can be switched on or off, and a USB charging port for the rider’s electronics, with LED lighting used throughout. Every SRV250 AMT comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.
