KTM track work from Klang to Abdullah Hukum – no Komuter trains to KL Sentral every Sun till Sept 28

Those who take the KTM Komuter Pelabuhan Klang – KL Sentral line, take note. KTM has announced that it will be upgrading the sewerage system (pembetung) of the rail track between Port Klang and Abdullah Hukum stations, an extension from the previous stretch from Port Klang to Batu Tiga.

As such, there will be no KTM Komuter train services to KL Sentral from all stations between Port Klang and Abdullah Hukum every Sunday, from this Sunday (August 3) till September 28. The KTM Komuter service to Tanjung Malim will start from KL Sentral.

As an alternative, the rail operator will be providing shuttle buses at affected stations between Pelabuhan Klang and Subang Jaya to the latter, as before. Those who use stations between Subang Jaya and Abdullah Hukum will have to use Rapid KL or e-hailing services to get to KL Sentral.

The stations that will have the shuttle buses this Sunday are Port Klang, Telok Gadong, Klang, Bukit Badak, Padang Jawa, Shah Alam and Batu Tiga. The bus service will start from 6.30 am. KTM must have chosen a Sunday to perform essential track work to minimise disruption on weekdays, good on them.

The stations that will have the shuttle buses every Sunday to Subang Jaya are Port Klang, Telok Gadong, Klang, Bukit Badak, Padang Jawa, Shah Alam and Batu Tiga. Buses start at 6.33 am and the schedules for each route are below.
