Johor Bahru city council (MBJB) is offering discounts of up to 80% on traffic and parking fines in conjunction with the 68th National Day celebrations this month.
As reported by Bernama), MBJB is offering the discounts from August 15-31 to encourage the public to settle any outstanding fines. In a statement, the council said the 80% discount applies to fines issued from 2016 to December 2024.
Meanwhile, a 60% discount will be given for fines issued in 2025, which the council says is in line with its standard rate. Payments can be done through the MBJBSpot app, MBJB service counters, MBJB payment kiosks, e-Khidmat app as well as the PBTPay portal.
