KL commuters, take note. Rapid Rail has announced a technical system disruption affecting the KL Monorail line, specifically at the Medan Tuanku station. The error has caused a train to be stuck. Transit officers inside the train have successfully evacuated the passengers to the nearest station.
As the entire line is affected by the stalled train, Rapid Rail has activated alternative shuttle trains and buses to help get passengers to their destination. A train will go back and forth between KL Sentral and Hang Tuah, another one will connect Hang Tuah and Bukit Nanas, and there will be a bus for the Titiwangsa to Bukit Nanas stretch.
Rapid Rail’s engineering team is now at the location to help restore operations. If you’re a Monorail user, it’s best to find alternative transport today.
