For those itching to visit Hat Yai again, good news. KTM’s MySawasdee train service to the southern Thailand city is back after a pause following the impact of the recent major floods there.
Tickets are now on sale for two return trips – January 30 from KL Sentral to Hat Yai, and February 2 for the return trip to Malaysia; or March 27-30. Tickets start from RM95 and can be purchased from KTM’s official website, the KITS Style app or physical ticket kiosks.
The MySawasdee train departs from KL Sentral, but one can also board from Sungai Buloh if you’re from the northern side of the Klang Valley. The train will stop at Ipoh and Taiping too, so one can hop on from there. Check out the graphic above for timings.
