For all you people who are planning to buy the Perodua Myvi, there’s a TRD bodykit out there for the Toyota equivalent which is the Toyota Passo. Can’t wait to see Myvis on the road with this kit slapped on. Looks darn good.

i don’t think this TRD bodykit will fit in MyVi without making any modification to it. Coz’ the shape of the front light and the front grill is different. But for other bodykits eg: KentStyle, Gialla etc. may fit in coz’ its just the lips.

yeah i know it is possible to fir in TRD kits but have to change all the front panel…that will be costly…i’ve done that to my kelisa…so, my next project will be MYVi…hopefully I have enough money to do so…:P

And yes, Toyota Passo and Daihatsu Boon/Sirion is the same. Boon and Sirion are names used in different countries.
In this post I posted two cars with the same bodykit. One is the Toyota Passo with TRD bodykit which is the silver one on top and the bottom red coloured car is the Daihatsu Sirion L3s. Same car and if you look properly same bodykit too

Nice kits, but me thinks genuine TRD kit prices gonna be real stiff. Dunno if our MyVi’s hood & headlights shape can fit straight into da kits?
Visual comparisons between the MyVi pics on da brochure seems to show we can install da kits directly. Good news.

On a closer look da JDM cars’ front fenders look different too. They look more squred & wider while our MyVi’s r rounded & smoother lookin.
If da difference is big, dat makes it a problem to fit da TRD kits straight without a fender conversion. As da front bumper’s lines extend straight into da fenders.

Yepp!! Got my MyVi already…red color some more…really nice lookinh, Comments?: Overall conditions are excellent except the gear shifting a little bit hard(just may be I’m to use to my Fiat..)& the aircond compressor start with a rattle sound a bit noisy…bole fix during 1st service kot!!!
Lighter car comparing to my fiat, anyhow enjoying her for driving in town…very easy to park lo..

Bodykit? Print out the picture and go to Daiichi lar. Can custom made one. Myvi GT3 also no problem if you have money. Plenty of car modification shops in Sunway may give you a clue on how and where.

This car is the best local made car that i have seen till now, good engine(petrol save without losing its power) , big space(can sit 5 adults), reasonable costs(50 k to buy wira? I rather buy this Brand new car)…….. I already booking 1, 1 months waiting.

RM42000 to RM45000 is too expensive. I should be around RM25000 to RM 30000 that’s a resonable price. Now a day car is our need in society not for a flaunt…….this main point the goverment should know and undestand.
You know how much of 1 car Aveo chevrolet sold in US full Pack version? Just Around USD 9900 that’s RM 37620 (include Insurance Somemore).
Still cheaper than myvi…..actually our car market must be open….then everbody can drive a good car with a cheap price and have a good life.
Our goverment should not subsidize to the petrol, our goverment not smart enough. You know just because want to protect our proton car…….then tax a very high tak to the all imported car. But go and subsidize on the petrol.
In malaysia no body can changed the car everyday, but everybody at malaysia will used the petrol everyday then how much we are lossing our country money just becuase of the proton car? This will be a very big amount per daily.
Our goverment should increase the petrol then reduce the price of the car. So no country will say and talk abd to malaysia still protect again on our nation car. This is a very shame things you know.
So, who efford pay for the petrol then they are the car user. No body can blame the goverment why always increase of the petrol. Our goverment should let every body know subsidize on the petrol will causes all our nation people pocket money will subsidize to the petrol. This is a very serious isue…….will cuases our country become poor and bankrap one day.

myvi truely a worth buy car.i have compared the myvi and savvy as well as gen2.Gen2 totally a disaster.enjin sux.who r the engineers?malay ka?wrong calculation on the cc.tall ppl cant sit at the back.ur head will reach the roof. savvy too.its 1149cc. y it is equal to 1200cc. isnt dat 1.1cc to 1 decimal point.want msian to pay more roadtax to government ka?! again,tall ppl cant sit at the back.very dissapointed with proton! luckily perodua much more clever.i have no comment on myvi.words cant describe.i love it=) i book it oready

Kos Bodykit & Sport Rim & Adjustable Suspendtion (Tien Japan) ( (Speed Star Racing (SSR)) pun dah lebih kurang RM 12,000/-. sakit kepala kawe!. barang dia mahal beb.bulan depan ingat nak masuk disc brake belakang. kena masuk Daihatsu G100 atau G200. barang tu belum ada yang Ok lagi. apa – apa sila email gua okay. body kit (full set)saja RM 9,500 (lebih kurang). bukan kedai potong punya siap ada tax letter dari kastam.

my 17″ rims hit the mudguard with the GAB springs… a bit too low, in front 1 finger and rear 2 fingers… maybe offset tak-ngam la. Anybody got any solution? tot of getting the HWL fully adjustable at RM2.8k… hmm..

for u guys who want to see the original daihatsu boom n toyota passo, u can go to brunei see one..that car hav been marketed there sinece last year…unfortunately i didnt bring my camera that time..memang lawa pun keta tu…rasa nak beli sebuah bawa balik bagi org malaysia jeles..hehehe
sprankly i hate to see the what perodua had done with the daihatsu techology n design…they make it kinda funny n ntah apa-apa…doesn’t it more nice if they just be the sole distributor of daihatsu in malaysia???? so that we get the ori machines from the japan, without any hardcore modifications, just add a little accessories like put a 17” rim + lowered is enough..confirm cantikkk!
but if u really want to modified ur myvi’s to boom/passo, kenari’s to move, kelisa to cuore…then the right place is brunei..i’m not talkng about secondhand stuff, this is ori…but make sure ur pocket full of $$…because part for these cars are hard to find at half cut in malaysia, ada pun, mahal gila…mcm nak sembelih org je tauke kedai potong nihh…

im proud with produa make people can by daihatsu sirion by lower price, but im upset with produa made myvi like sampah car, it so bad interm on interior quality, use poor plastic dash bord. its totaly diffrent like real sirion more impresive, myvi seats fabric its hard and make uncomfortable for driver and passenger. its look very flawed and far from perfectness. noisy engine sound also make myvi cant to compare with imported car like sirion. produa are failed making malaysia car to compete with international car maker, same as proton. both of this car maker like to enjoy them self by selling nasty car without thinking of consumers satisfaction. why not they be honest make car like international car maker, look on korea automobil indusrty why they can make car that is affordable yet have good quality and can sell around the world. to malaysian car buyers thik before buying a car…as they should conssider price or quality…or both of them..proton boleh! produa boleh MALAYSIA BOLEH ! …………. make we “BOLEH ” buy our product

Pelancaran MYVI SE agak mengecewakan. Pembaharuan yang yang ditonjolkan dalam model ini belum sampai ke tahap yang membanggakan. Bumper depan dan belakang masih ada ruang untuk dikomen dan diubahsuai. Kereta nampak macam modiified je. Bandingkanlah dengan Diathatsu Boon, kalau nak buat biarlah lebih baik daripada model asal. 2 bintang dah le untuk Perodua.

Mana² keta ada kualiti tersendiri baik murah & mahal, cuma advice sikit kat bro vioskiller toksah lah nak bongkak sangat, toksah lah nak iri hati, toksah lah nak mencemuh..keta murah ke keta mahal ke depends on their own money n mana yg termampu aje..tak malu ker nak bermegah diri? Gua tau lah lu urg kaya leh caci² urg(tidak berkemampuan) pakai keta murah, Gua ada difinasi tentang urg kat malasia ni, 1-kaya(goyang kaki tp duit masuk), 2-Senang(banyak duit yg mampu beli hapa je), 3-Mampu(hanya mampu memiliki pada suatu benda), 4-Tidak Mampu(kais pagi mkn pagi, kais ptg mkn ptg), 5-miskin(yang hidup bergantung pada bantuan urg lain) Agama gua mlarang mencaci² ni jadi gua tak caci lu just advice uke.Dalam hidup ni bukan semua benda kita dpt miliki.kena ada pilihan bro. sory OOT.
Family gue semua pakai P2 keta, so fa no complain..cuma P2 kena titik beratkan lagi semua alat eletronik kat dlm viva & myvi mcm power window, alarm & suspensen..yang lain gua tarak complain..im realy proud used P2 car(myvi+passo), P2 berjaya menghasilkan klon yg kelainan dr ori..
