Audi R8 Nurburgring Spy Video

AutoExpress has this nice spy video of the Audi R8 making test rounds around the infamous Nurburgring track in Germany. I’m sure all of you will enjoy the sounds of the R8′s engine which is supposedly a Lamborghini-derived V10. It is said that the car will feature a 4.2 litre V8 FSI and a 5.2 litre V10 FSI, with a possible turbodiesel option considering Audi’s success with the turbodiesel Audi R10 race car. I’ve hosted it on my server for you to enjoy better streaming speeds.

What are those white dots for?

Looks like a Lambo in audi's skin. Design also looks the same. Almost same rear lights, same air intake. Maybe the price is different?

Proton should take all lotus products and rebadge it…

'White dots' might be pressure sensors or some kind of probes? Standard testing and development requirement to have probes all around the car. Even Proton does that for their cars.

Seems like most of the Big Boys Toys nowadays share the very same platform and engine, and the only differences are the appearance asthetic and badge. :)

Sounds more like a V8 rumble than a V10 shriek.
