Lancia Delta appears at Detroit 2010 as a Chrysler

This third generation Lancia Delta was the sole Lancia car at the 2010 Detroit show’s Fiat-Chrysler stand which consisted of all the Chrysler and Fiat brands including Ferrari and Maserati.

The only thing is, this sole Lancia wasn’t exactly a Lancia. Instead it had Chrysler badges on it. It didn’t even have its own nameplate – it was simply called a Chrysler.

The Lancia Delta is essentially built on a long wheelbase (+100mm) Fiat C platform, the same base as the Fiat Bravo. In American terms that makes it somewhat of a CD car like the Ford Fusion and the Chrysler Sebring.

    btw, nxt time Paul, we'll need 200-300mm lens to get a nicer close-ups (of the chicks) if we find the car is not good looking enough for the snaps… hehehe…

    Lancia have introduce a lot of new technology which have been used in Modern cars…

    If not mistaken, they are the first to have 5 speed manual, monocoque body and also automatic rear spoiler in their cars… But due to parts quality problem, bad image and some stupid design, bye bye lancia and bought by Fiat…

    Check wikipedia for more info… They have won a few time WRC in the past and in Topgear they also crown them as century most car greatest… LOL~!

    I guess they used the chick to attract people to see the car.If not, nobody will go near it.Way too weird.My favorite Lancia was the Lancia Delta Intergrale Evoluzione II.
