Well, EURO 2012 is just around the corner, and sixteen lucky people are heading off to watch the tournament in Poland and Ukraine live, courtesy of Naza Kia Malaysia. Twelve winners picked up sixteen tickets to the year’s biggest footballing event, all thanks to various contests designed around the UEFA EURO 2012 theme.

No surprise about the prizes, since Kia Motors is the official sponsor for the football tournament, which kicks off later this week. Besides awarding the tickets, NKM will also bear all flight and accommodation costs.

The first contest tied-in with the company’s Test Drive Kia On Tour 2012 series of roadshows, which ran from March to May. For this campaign, customers who made a booking or test drove a vehicle at the roadshows stood a chance to win a ticket to the EURO 2012 Group B match between Germany and the Netherlands.

A total of 636 bookings were made at the four roadshow venues, with 2,406 test drives conducted. One winner was picked from each roadshow, and these were Ahmad Akram Gharib, Muhammad Safuan Alias, Azlan Awalludin and Teh Chee Hong.

There were a total of six winners in the two Kia Customer Days held in March and May respectively. Those who made a booking during the customer day were entered into the running to win a ticket, likewise those who sent their cars in for service during the period. Winners for the customer day in March were Muhammad Wira Aiman Kelana and Lee Chee Kah, who each won a ticket to the Germany vs Netherlands match.

In the second Kia Customer Day in May, the winner in the service category, Airul Redzma Mahpor, won two tickets for a quarterfinals match at EURO 2012 while Ooi Kah Hean, the winner in the sales category, won two tickets for a semifinal match. The runner-ups in both categories – Shahrul Helmi Shahidan and S. Chinatamy – won a ticket each for the match between Germany and the Netherlands.

The third EURO 2012 contest was the I Just Scored Contest, on Naza Kia Malaysia’s official Facebook page. In this one, NKM’s fans on the page were invited to submit videos of themselves celebrating a goal at EURO 2012 to win tickets. Mohd Husin Abd Rahman was voted by other fans in as the winner, and picked up two tickets for the Germany vs Netherlands match.

The last contest held was in conjunction with the launch of Naza Kia Malaysia’s Test Drive Hub in Bangsar, which offers customers the chance to test drive any Kia by making appointments online, by telephone or at the centre itself. Mong Xien Tien won two tickets for the Germany vs Netherlands game. In total, NKM received 6,895 entries from its EURO 2012 campaigns, and bookings from the Test Drive Kia On Tour 2012 roadshows and the two Kia Customer Days totaled 832 units.
