The latest in a string of Shanghai-bound concepts to be teased is the uniquely-christened Nissan Friend-ME, a product of the Japanese firm’s design centre in Beijing.
The Friend-ME promises to appeal to the “vibrant, young generation in China,” and as such, features a unique centre console that allows “Four Seats, One Mind Connectivity” – in other words, information shared equally among all aboard.
Nissan doesn’t go into specifics at this point, so it seems we’ll just have to wait a little longer for more to be revealed before we decide if we Friend it.
20 vehicles are set to grace Nissan’s stand at the upcoming Auto Shanghai with their presence, including products of the Dongfeng Nissan and Zhengzhou Nissan JVs. The GT-R, Quest, Murano and Teana are among those on the guest list.
