With Malaysia celebrating another year of independence soon, Honda Malaysia has revealed its Merdeka month (August 1-31, 2016) promotions for every model it sells (except the new Civic), which includes interest rates as low as 2.24% or cash rebates of up to RM6,000. That’s not all, because customers are also entitled to a special My Malaysia Bonus of up to RM4,000.
Starting with the Honda Jazz, all 1.5L variants – S, E and V can be purchased with an interest rate as low as 2.24% or with a cashback option of up to RM4,000. Additionally, a My Malaysia Bonus of up to RM2,000 is also offered, as well as optional Eco Tint Ray Barrier 4 tinting worth RM1,500.
Next up, the Honda City is offered with an interest rate as low as 2.41% or a cash option of RM3,000. The promotion applies to all variants of the City 1.5L – S, S+, E and V, and includes a My Malaysia Bonus of up to RM2,000.
Meanwhile, the My Malaysia Bonus for the HR-V goes up to RM3,000, with an interest rate as low as 2.78% or an up to RM1,000 cashback option. All variants of the HR-V 1.8 – S, E and V, regardless if it is the model fitted with 16- or 17-inch wheels, qualify for this promo.
The same is said of the HR-V’s larger sibling, the CR-V. All variants – 2.0L 2WD, 2.0L 4WD and 2.4L 4WD can be bought with an interest rate as low as 2.62% or with a cashback option of up to RM3,000, which is the same for its My Malaysia Bonus.
Honda’s D-segment offering, the Accord is also listed in the Merdeka month promo. The qualifying variants include the 2.0L i-VTEC, 2.0L VTi-L and 2.4L VTi-L for the pre-facelift model, and is offered with a cash options of up to RM6,000 or an interest rate as low as 2.36%. The My Malaysia Bonus available here is up to RM4,000.
Finally, the Odyssey comes with either an interest rate as low as 2.75% or a cash option of RM2,000. Buyers will also get a My Malaysia Bonus of up to RM1,000. Every offer listed here also comes with an exclusive gift – Thermocafe Tumbler by Thermos

So, this offer is not sincere. They need to sell their other models cause stock berlambak. If Honda was really sincere at celebrating Merdeka and respecting the Independance of Malaysia, they will offer rebates across the range, especially the Civic

During last Honda promo, called one branch to ask about price of Honda Jazz. The salesguy pretended not to know about the cash rebate and seemed not interested to sell. Went ahead to buy another car, no regrets at all.
