Hyundai Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has announced an aftersales service promotion which sees all authorised Hyundai service centres offering discounts of up to 20% on selected parts. The promotion, which runs from June 1 to July 31, 2018, also offers a 10% discount on labour costs.
Additionally, customers who spend over RM500 on service will be entitled to a mystery gift, whereas those getting their fuel system cleaner replaced will be given a 15% discount. Meanwhile, Grand Starex Royale owners can look forward to enjoying discounts of up to 50% on parts, as well as two mystery gifts with a spending of over RM500.
This announcement follows after unauthorised dealers were found selling fake Hyundai and Kia parts, which include oil filters, air filters, brake pads and spark plugs. Apparently, some of the parts were even sold at the same price as their original counterparts.
Managing director of Sime Darby Motors, Dennis Ho said continuous education on the safety hazards of using counterfeit parts is important. “Customers can be assured that authorised service centres only use genuine parts and can offer customers a peace of mind when it comes to the safety of their vehicles,” he said.

Looks like most Hyundai customers prefer servicing outside instead. But its a gud offer, that 20% diskaun.
Only noob like you will service outside. Most Hyundai customers servicing their cars in authorised dealers. Hyundai customer service good and reliable. And they have 5 years of warranty.
Just went to their service center but no discount for turbo parts…Big news just to draw people to buy their car.. Huhu.. Its rm5k oer unit. No discount at all.
