Mercedes-AMG GLC43, GLC43 Coupe facelifts teased

Mercedes-Benz has already given the GLC and GLC Coupe their respective facelifts, and this extends to the monstrous “63” models. However, the middle ground “43” models have yet to receive the same treatment, but that will all change soon.

The company recently teased the arrival of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic and GLC 43 4Matic Coupe on its social media channels, giving us a glimpse at some of the revisions to the “mild Peri Peri” performance SUV models.

Based on the short video clip, which features the GLC 43 Coupe, we find Multibeam LED headlamps with restyled daytime running lights, taillights with ring-shaped graphics, and a Panamericana front grille. There’s also a shot of the interior, which features the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen and touchpad controller.

Aside from the visual changes, the new GLC 43 models should also come with an improved powertrain. In their current, pre-facelift form, the M276 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 churns out 362 hp (367 PS) and 520 Nm of torque, with a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive system sending drive to all four corners. We’ll only know full details when the new GLC 43 cars are revealed in full, which shouldn’t be too far away.

Exterior design cues copied from their sibling, the Geely Xingyue FY11.

Wow, AMG quality is so good. I hope Proton fanboys don’t come here again and say their Proton X70 is higher level than GLC43 because for months they are claiming Proton uses AMG technology as parent Geely owns 10% of Daimler Mercedes AG

    • Same dude that claims his Myvi is better than A Class & 1Series. My spleen laughs at his stupid comments.
