You wanna know why the pickup trucks we have in Malaysia that we already have difficulty parking sometimes are called “compact” trucks? Well, it’s because of trucks like the Ford F450, one of the few large pickups that you can find in the US. These shots of a Ford F450 were snapped by reader T P L at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. It’s seriously massive and probably used mostly for fleet purposes, though I’m sure there are some that’ll buy one for the purposes of going to a casino. This behemoth is powered by a range of engines from a 5.4 litre V8 petrol with 300 horsepower, a 6.8 litre V10 with 362 horsepower or a 6.4 litre V8 turbodiesel with 350 horsepower and a massive 650Nm of torque. Its sheer size and power makes our Mother Trucker Navara look tiny in comparison! Just see how it looks like next to the 7-Series in the photo above!
Look at more photos after the jump.

SUPERRRRRRR COOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
change the wheels to something more bling bling, paint it whole body matte black, then ultra dark window tint, and that's the coolest ride in town!!!! :-)
all i can say is WTF ! revolting…
Hehe, this is F450 only. Imagine the F650s in the US. But anything above F450 is considered a lorry in Malaysia I guess.
buy and mod a 1 tonne lorry then…
This is a Ford F650

it looks like those used in thailand. toyota ones but dunno what name.
so big !!
bmw7 looks very small in the picture
Woah, Ford F650 is so damn Yeng, like a pimp-up Big Foot.. In Malaysia, that thing is considered a mid-heavy truck because of its 6 wheelers.
Well, there are a couple of Ford F350's running about in PJ. You can see them trucking away around Jln Gasing.
small lorry?
=D
hahaha..funny 1 red7. put some shell gas or petronas gas at the back.
WTH, this truck isnt new, 90s model…..
Everything in Amerika is super-sized!
People use these as everyday vehicles here in the Northeast USA. I drove one-ton trucks for years.
These US full sized trucks are mainly popular in the Australian mining towns (A.K.A. Stinkin hot desert.), due to their size. Factory-spec, Brazilian manufactured RHD F250 pick up trucks used to be sold officially in Australia.
Newer models, like the one in the photos, are now parallel imports, converted dto Right Hand Drive (Man, I wished the Aussie authorities allow us to keep Left Hand Drive vehicles as they are, not to mention the ultra-strict import restrictions.)
Whenever I thought of Westerner talking about protecting the environment, pictures of such car simply show how hypocritical they are.
Based on a movie…
Honey..i shrunk the TRUCK….
it looks like Limousine + ( Nissan Frontier)Pickup
The "Mother of Truck", or it could be the Transformer?? haha…
You can also see Prius taxi in Perth streets…
Kong, its not like you see F450 on every corner there. At least they have full NGV bus in the city, wind farm and heck, bicycle lanes.
OK I'll get one to squash the rude Penang Ah Bengs…
These are use to pull horse boxes or farm equipment.
BTW, they have a V10 6.8L Powerstroke Diesel
Base F450 only start from about $25K USD. But then again, the option list is several pages long.
These are quite nice cruisers. I've never driven the F450 but even the smaller F150/250 which we use to tow our track cars were quite nice to drive.
ive seen this truck almost everyday while i was in melbourne…nt only that..u can c lotsa hummer H2 limo there..u can rent it for special occasion…most of them in black or white form…
but this truck…its really huge…ull hate it when u were bhind this massive wheel coz u cant see anything ahead u…
It's humongous.
I used to own a F-150 loaded version. it's normal in north america. but they are gas killer. they only can go 6.5km per litter. imagine ur 40litter tank of gas only can go 240km on highway driving condition. but the V8 and 5.4L engine give u wat u need in power and winter and heavy snow will not be a problem for you. u can plow thru 6" snow like nobody. beside during winter someppl used them to drift in snow. go check out youtube.
triple cab version of F650..

wow. that is one huge truck, and that f650 is like a tank!
but over here in malaysia. the closest thing we can get is the Navara, which is a pretty good subsitute for its price.
besides, we gotta factor in parking conditions here unlike australia's desert where you can park anywhere anytime.

Agree with you on that. Love to own one merely to bang those road-hogs off the fast lanes.Whooo..huu…huuuu……..!
I ride on it before, when i dealing with OLD MAN EMU when they would like to develop new suspension system, leaf springs. The R&D guy gave us a ride and went to off road, 80km/h. Can u imagine…and no feel at all….That time i was working leaf spring company in Malaysia, as supplier to OLD MAN EMU.
Great JOB…
Could you direct me to where i can search for a new Ford F450 to import to Australia
I have been wanting a Ford F-450 Lariat King Ranch since 2009, and all Ford dealers said they WILL NEVER come here in AUSTRALIA. I can see some one did bring it here to AUSTRALIA, I still want one and love to here from this person. Get hold of me from my wifes E-MAIL. [email protected]…
