It seems that Renault will be launching a new car at the Beijing Motor Show that will be happening next week. It is called the Renault Talisman and it will be the flagship that will set course to boost Renault’s image in China.
Very little is known about the car other than how its rear will look like and that its birth certificate will say Renault Samsung Motors, South Korea. So, is this really a rebadged Renault Samsung SM7? Intriguing, yes?
That’s a Samsung SM7…aka, a Korean Nissan Teana with a Renault badge….
Renault doesn’t have anything that big in their inventory… and history have shown that they can’t build an appealing ‘big car’ . The last Safrane was a total engineering mess even though the car was pretty refined.
Talisman? apa maksud ni.. tangkal kan?
Renault Tangkal 2.2 dci? camtu? he he he…
Proton boleh lawan… Proton Bomoh 1.6 CFE
There used to be an American car built by a man named Preston Tucker. The car is called Tucker Talisman. Read about it in a Stephen King novel, Needful Things..
The name’s a mistake.
Second that. Same car as SM7.
PR is ramping up in Shanghai as it has the most dealers.
Chinese will choose Teana over Talisman simply of branding awareness and pricing (RM80K for top-spec Teana VS RM150+ for lowest-spec Talisman). So, the Koleos will remain as volume seller.
Oh, bring it here already. Politicians would love to own one or two so that they can go around feeling safe especially during this coming election. No need to wear tangkal, this Talisman will do. Hehe
