Not much longer before the 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis is launched in Malaysia – in fact, the UMW Toyota site offers a countdown as to when that’ll happen. We’ve seen the car on trailers and through classified ads on oto.my, and now, here’s a set of photos offering a quick peek at the local specification Altis, taken from the media preview drive that’s currently taking place.
As previous posts have highlighted, the new Altis range will be made up of three variants, the baseline 1.8 E, which is priced at RM114k, the 2.0 G at RM123k and the range-topping 2.0 V at RM136k.
The white car here in the lead pix is the high-spec Corolla Altis 2.0 V, easily distinguished by those striking 17-inch alloy wheels, which are wrapped with 215/45 Michelin rubbers. An “Additional Safety Package” is available for the particular variant, and this increases the airbag count to seven (front, side, curtain, driver’s knee) and adds on a passenger seat belt warning indicator. It also brings the price of the 2.0 V up to RM139,900.
We’ve already driven the 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis in its top 2.0V form. Read our full review here.
