Is Clarkson headed to Channel 4 show Full Throttle?

Does Jeremy Clarkson already have his next project after Top Gear all planned out? Various media outlets are speculating that he may be headed to BBC’s rival Channel 4 to star in a show supposedly called Full Throttle, after a tweet by a certain @stevebrisbane1 was discovered.

However no one really knows who this @stevebrisbane1 is – his Twitter description seems to indicate he works in an automotive dealer in aftersales. Some kind of wild misinterpretation here, perhaps?

Covered in raw meat, feathers and brown goo. In the desert in 45-degrees centigrade. Yay.

The same reports claim this Instagram post by Tom Ford (named in the tweet as one of Clarkson’s co-hosts in the Full Throttle show) as being from the set of Full Throttle, with speculation that the tall person on the right is Clarkson himself.

The photo is more likely to be from the set of Mud, Sweat and Gears though, starring Ford and fellow journalist/presenter Jonny Smith, as the previous few photos posted a day before the supposedly ‘Full Throttle’ one specifically referred to the Mud, Sweat and Gears show.

While the BBC investigates what actually happened during the incident with the producer, Clarkson has been suspended and the three remaining episodes of this season’s Top Gear has been scrapped.

It cost BBC2 close to 4 million viewers on during the Top Gear slot – a documentary about the British Royal Air Force aerobatics team that aired in its place was rated at just 1.3 million viewers.

I think Jeremy is the guest star in the show. I see Tiff Needell also in the show too.

Jeremy Clarkson hasn’t left BBC yet.

not sure about this, but i do have a feeling he might go back to bbc again pretty soon, just like how bear grylls and bbc are now. at the end of the day, i think both of them will realize they just can’t lose each other, with maybe bbc needs jeremy a little bit more than jeremy needs bbc of course.

BBC needs Jeremy Clarkson, just like they need Top Gear. It’s their most profitable shows of all time at BBC. No way they are scrapping it.

Best automotive show? Hardly. Most entertaining and sensational, perhaps, but definitely not the best.

Although JC is the star of TG, the graphics and production is tops too. Is JC replaceable? Of course yes. But it won’t be the same. It will be different, but not necessarily worst.

I don’t see the need to pull the TG plug just because BBC is investigating JC. They still have Captain Slow & Richard. They just need someone else to replace him, perhaps a certain Rowan Atkinson, who is a certified car nut.

Tom Ford, really? He’s OK on the old Fifth Gear, but to make something funny and entertaining like TG, I doubt he fits.
