As reported, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) will be looking to launch a number of what it calls its “Dream Cars” over the remainder of the year, and it looks like one model is coming up very soon.
An image posted on its Facebook post is clearly indicative of the launch of an AMG-specific model, due to take place this Friday, October 2. The only other thing that’s apparent is that the car in question will be able to perform its century sprint in 4.0 seconds.
What’s not been mentioned is the model specifically referred to here. Naturally, we can help with that – we’ve deduced it to just one unsurprising, but rather exciting, possibility: the Mercedes-AMG C 63.
That’s right, folks. Back in July, MBM said that the hot sedan was coming, and that it would be unleashed before the year’s end. Even the 4.0 second claim matches up, additionally leading us towards the more powerful C 63 S version specifically. Coupe? Well, we reckon it’s still a bit too soon for that to have made it here already, given the recency of its global debut.
Whether or not MBM will launch the non-S version or the Edition 1 this Friday, or at a later point, is yet to be known. To give you a bit of a recap, the all-new C 63 is equipped with Mercedes-AMG’s new 4.0 litre biturbo V8 engine, codenamed the M178, which first in the brand’s flagship sports car, the AMG GT.
There are also two states of tune, the first being the standard C 63, which puts out 476 PS from 5,500 to 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 4,500 rpm. The more potent variant, which is the one we’re looking at here, delivers a monstrous 510 PS and 700 Nm of torque.
Both cars are equipped with an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed transmission, which aid the regular C 63 to achieving the century sprint in 4.1 seconds, while the hardcore C 63 S dose the same in 4.0 seconds flat.
We can’t tell you any more than we already have about the coming model, nor do we have any info on what prices you can expect. In the past, MBM’s sole option of the previous-gen Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe retailed for RM781,888. We’ll be back Friday with more specifics, and pricing, of course.

In bad times in Bolehland,Merc has overtaken BMW by a sizable margin.
This shows the filthy rich are still f..kingly filthy rich while the average rakyat is struggling to put bread on the table.
Anyway,it not wrong if you can afford luxury cars, unlike shady deals done by some people.
If you have rm 3 Billion in the bank today, its interest alone ,on a daily basis will get you a Merc benze CLA AMG….TIAP TIAP HARI.!!!
Poor Protong has been losing a Benz a day on interest alone, cos of its accumulative losses 4 years in a row.
No need 3 Billion oso can. Just becum CM up north. Pipu will still belip you even when you get S-keras.
Go and be Najib’s lapdog, he’ll give u a Merc
At least better than LGE lapsap. He only pass u his 2nd hand Camry when he upcar to S-keras.
Roti, this Bladdy John is truly a lapdog…he will say BLACK is WHITE,he knows how to angkat telur kaw kaw.
When you say anything about dying protong,he will protest and say protong has overtaken Perodua. He is living in Mars, not earth.
Anyway, maybe he is already enjoying a merc a day quietly.(Shoo….Tun said it is a crime to talk about that shit )
Nothing I said was wrong, did I?
Did CM LGE use rakyat money buy S-Class? Yes
Did CM LGE get S-Class after his Camry? Yes

Still better than BMW..
MB Thailand is going to assemble the CLA and GLA to make it more affordable and MB Malaysia is busy with this nonsense AMG. The non-AMG MB cars in Malaysia are already powerful enough for local highways which has a legal speed of 110km/h. Guys, if you really have lots of money and really want to be outstanding, please get a Ferrari, Mclaren or even a Lambo ok…
What’s with the S and non S? Just make one version then later offer a more powerful n lighter track version for the hardcore ones.
As for the price I think it would remain around the same to match the M3 or they could price it cheaper to make the rich happy like what they did for the CLS.
